My Gen Con 2013 Schedule

This will be one of the busiest years I’ve had at Gen Con; but unlike other years, it’ll be easy to pin me down! Here’s my schedule:

Panel: Ask the Paizo GMs

Thursday, Aug 15th, 2pm-3pm — ICC 231
James Jacobs, Erik Mona, F. Wesley Schneider, Ryan Macklin

Signing: Hillfolk

Thursday, Aug 15th, 3pm-4pm — Booth #101

I’ll be among the authors at the Thursday Hillfolk signing. (For those who don’t have it yet, copies will be available at the show. You did read about my piece, right?)

Note that I’ll be working across the way at Paizo during the other signing on Sunday.

Panel: Behind the Scenes at Paizo Publishing

Thursday, Aug 15th, 4pm-5pm — ICC 231
Chris Carey, Adam Daigle, Ryan Macklin, Andrew Vallas

The Rest of the Time

If the exhibitors’ hall is open and I’m not at one of the aforementioned events, there’s a good chance that I’ll be at the Paizo Publishing booth (#203, in front of the left-most door to the hall, and prominently displayed on the map.) [Edit: graphical representation of my day hours are on G+.]

I’ll sign whatever. It’s been a running joke in the past few years that I’ll sign any book, but seriously, if you have something you want me to sign, I’m game.[1]

Also, and this is key: this year, I will not be bringing my army of flasks. I might have a couple, but overall, since I won’t be able to go around the hall to give bourbon to my friends. In a sense, I’m calling in a marker: if you’ve appreciated me plying you with fine alcohol over the years, and you happen to have some on you and want to share in the bounty, please swing by and see me.[2] My liver will curse your name, but the rest of me will thank you.

Hope to see you guys at the show!

– Ryan

[1] Okay, there are limits. I won’t sign your dead dog. Ewww.

[2] Day Macklin reserves the right to refuse, if accepting in that moment would get him in trouble. Night Macklin, though…
